I am a bass player looking for a full band of musicians, drummer, guitarist, percussionist, trumpet, sax, keyboard, and maybe singer to start an free flowing, acid jazz, funk band. Any ideas and influence welcome. I am wanting to head to Wellington ASAP to play as much as possible, so anyone in Wellington that is interested, feel free to message.
I played bass a few years ago in a band called Ample Funk, and if you search the songs Venus Bund or king of the skins, you can hear my style of playing there.
