Guitarist looking for musicians to play with

Hey,

I’m a guitar player who’s keen to find cool people to jam with (maybe leading to some gigging), wether that's a rhythm guitar player, bass player drummer, singer.. anyone really. Happy to join an existing group if it's a good fit, or just someone to play with. 

I’m intermediate level and been playing while, but kinda ‘off and on’ over the years. I’ve moved country a lot and had phases of playing and not, but I'm keen to get back into it more and get some joy out of playing music again.

I play electric and acoustic (both strumming & fingerpicking stuff), I sing a bit as well. Over the years I've busked in the streets, played in garage bands, jammed, improv'd, played live in small groups etc..  but right now just play alone, which is fine but not as motivating. 

My musical tastes are pretty broad.. As a guitarist my first love is probably 60's British Blues (Peter Green, Cream, Hendrix, Clapton etc), but also rock and pop from that era, stretching through the 80's/90's to today, as well as grunge, pop, funk, acoustic/alt rock, folk, punk, reggae, world music and so on. I like a bit of almost everything (except hardcore metal, country and 70's rock/pop - none of which really do it for me).

As a player, most of my time has been spent playing blues lead, and solo acoustic stuff, but I’m up for whatever more or less - so long as it's fun! ;) I can learn whatever I set my mind to pretty much and am interested in stretching myself and just having fun playing with people I vibe well with, so the point of this for me is really to find other people who enjoy playing music with others.
