Hi all,
We've recently started a new community Big Band in the Auckland area. Non-auditioned and no-commitment, we rehearse regularly on a Tuesday evening (when you can make it), and hope to start gigging in the summer.
We're looking for new members, especially brass (also saxes). We welcome all ages and backgrounds, although you will be about Grade 4+ and able to read music. This would ideally suit busy talented amateur musicians who are unable to commit to something more regular, or more professional musicians looking for some Big Band experience.
As a community venture, all our members are unpaid and any proceeds go towards ensuring the sustainability of the band.
