Auckland-based band (guitar, vocals and bassie) looking for a drummer.
We have spend the last few months building a covers set and were looking to start doing some pub gigs, and then our drummer decided to bail on us (personal reasons were cited!). So now we are looking for a drummer!!!
We have a set of about 35 songs, mainly your stock pub-rock jams ranging from CCR, Kings Of Leon, Van Morrision, Foo Fighters, Tom Petty, Audioslave, Billy Idol, Black Keys, Queens of the stone age. Can go a bit lighter, can go a bit heavier - and obviously can tweak the set to suit the drummer.
Ultimately we are keen to get on stage to do some pub gigs (and potentially build a big enough set to do other types of functions down the track) but initially we are just keen to jam until we find a drummer that fits in well with us. We are also open to writing original music.
We have our own space to jam in, a safe store converted into a permanent mini studio. So once you are comfortable there is an option to store your gear there and keep it permanently set up. We all have good gear (and a decent recording set up).
