Hi there,
I’m an amateur singer looking for a guitarist and/or other musicians to form a group with a view to performing at open mics around Wellington on a casual basis. I’m essentially looking for an opportunity to have fun, be creative, and get some experience performing without a heavy time commitment. I would probably want to start off with covers but would be interested in trying to write as well. Taste very eclectic - indie, rock, electro, trip-hop, country, folk, jungle etc.
Influences in no particular order: Little Dragon, Elvis Costello, Hiatus Kaiyote, Blockhead, Lianne La Havas, Darwin Deez, Elliott Smith, Emilie Simon...
