This piano is a full size Japanese made Kawai BL71 model 132cm concert upright piano manufactured in the original Kawai piano factory in Hamamatsu, Japan during the absolute golden era of Japanese piano manufacturing.
The Kawai BL71 piano is commonly regarded as one of the most reliable full size Kawai models manufactured prior to their manufacturing processes moving to Indonesia in the late 1990’s, where the new models are still made today. These original Japanese made models are highly sought after in the musical world.
The BL71 is designed to replicate the tone and touch of a grand piano and has a larger music desk much like a baby grand.
