Singer looking for individuals to form original band

Kia Ora, I am a singer/rhythm guitarist looking for individuals to form a band.

I am writing songs and lyrics and am keen to start performing live. But by God I want more oomph and dynamic and sex-appeal and insanity to be pumped into the music and performance.

I am not into performing genre music, or a huge amount of covers or anything like that.

Level of skill isn't particularly relevant to me - I'm much more concerned with finding people who are artistically inclined and are wanting to make something beautiful and confronting and a bit @#$!ed up. 

An amalgamation of Pixies, Nick Cave (especially Grinderman stuff), Velvet Underground, Darcy Clay and the Violent Femmes is what I duct-tape together to form songs at the moment. This isn't an exhaustive list of what I like by any means, it's just a taste of what could be!
