Vocalist wanted for traditional Heavy Metal Band

Auckland Heavy Metal band looking for singer.

We’re a band of experienced musicians (current and former members of Exordium Mors, Winter Deluge, Dawn Of Azazel, Despertar & Metalcoholicnight) who have been actively playing and gigging since the 2000s and we have an album’s worth of material with a sound that sits somewhere in the territory of late 70s Priest, Rainbow, early Maiden, MK2 Deep Purple, early Megadeth, Angelwitch, Lizzy, Mercyful Fate.

We rehearse weekly and we’re after a singer who’s a die-hard dedicated Metalhead who's into this kind of sound and who will be able to commit to this band properly, turning up to practice on a weekly basis, contributing ideas, not half-assing anything etc.

I must emphasize that we want someone who can actually sing. Black, Death or Power Metal vocals won't suit. We have a preference for singers who have a bit of grit: think Di’Anno, Gillan, Blackie Lawless, Wino, Dio, Algy Ward, Phil Mogg.
