XPAT Seeks Virtuoso Lead Guitarist!

Are you a highly skilled and dedicated lead guitarist ready to bring your searing solos and intricate melodies to an established hard rock trio? XPAT, a powerful 3-piece band based in Tawa, Wellington, is on the hunt for our missing link!

We're looking for more than just a player; we need a true musician who understands music theory, can shred with precision and flair, and possesses the ability to learn new songs quickly and efficiently.

What we're looking for:

• Exceptional Talent: A lead guitarist with deep knowledge of music theory and the technical prowess to deliver impressive solos and strong melodic lines.

• Rapid Learner: Someone who can quickly pick up new material and integrate seamlessly into our existing sound.

• Experience Matters: Minimum of 6 years of proven experience in both studio recording and live performance environments. This is a must for serious candidates.

• Commitment: Ability to travel to Tawa twice per week for regular rehearsals and recording sessions.

• Reliability: Must have own transport and professional gear.

• Good Vibes: A cool, easy-going personality with clean and sober habits to fit our band's dynamic.

• Bonus Points:

• While not a dealbreaker, a South African background would be a cool bonus for our band!

• Backing Vocals would also be an awesome addition to the band - Just be able to hold a note and harmonize with the lead vocals in the choruses.

XPAT is an active, established hard rock band, and we're looking for someone to push our sound to the next level.

We record regularly in our Home studio and are actively writing new material for our Debut EP

We have been booked to play "Spring into Tawa" in October, which will be our first "official" gig.
