I have been playing the flute for over twelve years, and the oboe for over ten. I have recently graduated from the University of Auckland with conjoint degrees in Flute Performance, with an Arts degree in Sociology. I attained my DipABRSM Diploma in Flute Performance and Grade 8 Oboe from Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music in 2012.
In the last few years, I have performed in the Wairau Symphonietta, Trust Waikato Symphony Orchestra, Waikato University Chamber Orchestra, St Matthews Chamber Orchestra, Auckland Symphony Orchestra, Auckland Youth Orchestra, University of Auckland Orchestra, and the Handel Consort and Quire.
I have a wide range of teaching experience, teaching both oboe and flute at Auckland Normal Intermediate, St Kentigern College, Sacred Heart College, Epsom Girls Grammar School, and St Mary’s College.
I love teaching music, and hope I can encourage others to love music as well.
