Roland Workstation VS-2400CD is a complete, mobile Digital Recording Studio, used for multi-channel recording, Digital Mastering, Mixing. A genuine Roland Digital Sound Effects Processor added later as a plug-in (now build-in).
Comes in a custom-designed professional Rock Case (NZ made). Also, a Shuttle mobile monitor in a its semi-hard mobile case, UBM PS/2 Keyboard and Mouse and a spare Hard Disk (IDE)are included in the set.
VC-2400CD has the ability to create a master CD. No external computers are required. You can operate without an external monitor, keyboard and mouse, but it is much easier, elegant and more comfortable to use them.
There is a crack on the front left edge plastic protector, and I do not even recall when did I do it and how. Most likely in transport before I arranged with RockCase to build a customised, robust road case for me.
Still have the original user manual.
The outer dimensions of the case is: 62cm (width) x21cm (height) x58cm (depth). The weight of the case (includes the mouse and keyboard) is 19.7kg.
The total cost of all components came to me over $5,000.00, but I have no use of the system any more, as the Classical String Quartet (for which all was purchased), does not exist in its initial form.
Ideal from smaller Classical (Chamber) ensembles, rock groups and solo musician.
