The legacy of the legendary Leo Fender, G&L Guitars continues to produce exceptional instruments in the 21st Century, closely adhering to its iconic founder's vision. A cornerstone of their electric guitar lineup, the Fullerton Deluxe ASAT Classic is a US-made T-style guitar that fully embraces vintage styling and modern functionality in equal measure.

Finished in a stunning Fullerton Red, this beautiful instrument is suitable for a number of styles thanks to its versatile pickup set and timeless tonewood combinations.

G&L USA GUITARS "THE BEST INSTRUMENTS I EVER MADE" - LEO FENDER

The G&L USA Fullerton Deluxe ASAT Classic features an Alder body, delivering a well-rounded tone with focused lows, rich highs and lots of natural resonance. Its medium weight gives it a substantial feel, but it is light enough for performance purposes and can be the perfect workhorse.

The ASAT's bolt-on Maple neck offers a bright and snappy response, giving notes plenty of bite and upper mid-range vibrancy. If you're looking for an instrument that can easily cut through in a mix, this is more than capable! Featuring G&L's "Modern Classic" neck profile, this guitar provides a comfortable and fast feel that contemporary players will adore, whilst not alienating traditionalists looking for a nostalgic touch.

Topped with a Caribbean Rosewood fingerboard, this attractive material is adorned with 22 medium jumbo frets. Keeping both modern and old-school camps happy, this fret size allows you to easily add vibrato to lead lines without hindrance.

Electronics

Boasting G&L's signature Leo Fender-designed MFD pickups, these innovative single-coils utilise ceramic magnets and iron pole pieces to provide ultra-clear and articulate sounds, with low-noise too.

Responding well to your playing dynamics, the bridge pickup has a super-sweet top-end that sparkles with clean settings. Add overdrive, and things will get far more gnarly! Flick to the neck single-coil and you'll attain smooth jazz-style tones, projecting a warm mid-range that can get punchy when you really dig in. Move the pickup selector switch to the middle, and you'll get the best of both worlds.

Hardware

In true T-style tradition, the Fullerton Deluxe ASAT Classic features a boxed-style bridge that even vintage aficionados will appreciate. The '50s vibe remains intact with its brass saddles too, but with individual saddles for each string, you can individually intonate them to guarantee great tuning stability across all areas of the fingerboard.

The ASAT's 100% natural bone nut also enhances its overall sustain, whilst allowing the strings to glide freely so that they don't snag when performing string bends. With all of these thoughtful appointments, it's clear that the G&L USA Fullerton Deluxe ASAT Classic is a pro-standard guitar.
